MBK Tape offers converting services and electrical insulating tapes to be used in medical devices and equipment.

MBK Tape Solutions is highly proficient in developing prototypes and manufacturing component parts for high-tech industries. From electrically conductive, thermally conductive, or non-conductive adhesive tapes and insulating materials to high-temperature films, such as polyimide, MBK continues to supply new and innovative materials used in the assembly and packaging of appliances, medical devices, and electronic products.

Electrically Conductive Tape – Polyimide Films
These tapes consist of a thin film that provides reliable electrical, mechanical, and chemical properties. Given its excellent temperature resistance, this film holds up in cold temperatures while resisting high levels of heat. It also features high dielectric strength and abrasion resistance, as well as minimal adhesive transfer. Conductive tape products intended for flexible circuit materials and wave solder masking applications often use polyimide films.

Thermal Insulating Tape
This tape helps protect wires, cables, components, and other types of equipment from damage by extreme temperatures of cold and heat. The insulating materials along with the adhesive systems utilized are typically designed around the exposures to be encountered.

We provide tapes that can be applied across a number of industries, in particular, those required for medical technology including wearable stick-to-skin devices and appliances. For example, EMI/RFI shielding adhesives are commonly associated with the use of modern medical devices to protect those devices from outside interference (i.e., from cell phones). Another example is certain types of adhesive tapes that help with heat dissipation throughout the devices, to make sure they do not overheat. It is crucial to ensure the technology is always functioning properly for both staff and patients. MBK Tape Solutions is properly equipped to serve the needs of the med-tech industry.
